Synfilm GT is a clean, dry, long life, high film strength, energy efficient synthetic lubricant that significantly increases bearing life and equipment reliability.
Synfilm GT is recommended for use in gas and steam turbines, blowers and vacuum pumps, bearings, gears and air tools. It should be considered instead of standard Synfilm when: oil reservoir temperatures exceed 93°C (200°F), improved low temperature fluidity is desired, or when a required viscosity grade is not available in the standard Synfilm range.
Synfilm GT rapidly and completely separates from water, provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, and is extremely oxidation stable — allowing for extended oil drain intervals and long oil life. NSF Certified for H2 service.

One product covering gas and steam turbines, rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps, bearings, gears and air tools — reducing SKU complexity.
Synerlec® additive technology creates an ionically bonded protective film on metal surfaces — significantly extending bearing life and equipment reliability.
Resists oxidation far longer than conventional oils — preventing thickening, sludge, varnish and lacquer deposits while delivering extended oil drain intervals.
Rapidly and completely separates from water — preventing emulsification, protecting bearings and maintaining oil film integrity even in humid environments.
Pour point below –45°C ensures instant lubrication at startup — even after extended shutdowns in cold environments, protecting components from dry-start wear.
NSF Certified for H2 service — meeting the requirements for use in food processing facilities where incidental food contact is not expected.
